So what do I do?
I am the Director of the Center for the Scholarly Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CSALT) and the Verna Mae and Wayne D. Brooks Professor of Business Law at the Craig School of Business, California State University Fresno. I earned my J.D. at New York University School of Law and my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
I am one of the faculty coordinators for Fresno State’s Technology Innovations for Learning and Teaching (TILT), assisting faculty use technology to promote learning. I teach the introductory business law course for undergraduate business majors and sports marketing law for sports marketing majors. I teach in the MBA and Executive MBA programs. I’ve taught courses in human resources law and ethics for a variety of local businesses. My passions are learning (I’m a life-long student) and enjoying time with family and friends.
